Wood impregnating preservative with antifungal and insecticidal action
TIMBERTONE GUARD is a solvent-borne, wood impregnating preservative, which is ready to use. It contains active ingredients effective against wood destroying and wood discoloring fungi, blue stain, wood boring insects and termites. Additionally, it enhances the adhesion properties for subsequent surface coating.
Use on: For all outside wood, which is not in direct contact to soil or surface water, e.g.: facades, windows (inner and outer parts), exterior doors (inner and outer parts), carports, shutters and balcony railings. Not for indoor application. READ ALL PRECAUTIONARY INFORMATION BEFORE USE. Wood surfaces must be
clean and dry before treating. Wood moisture should not exceed 18%.
Coverage: Effective against wood destroying and wood discoloring fungi, blue stain, wood boring insects and termites at 5 m²/lt.
Drying time: 1-2 hours under normal conditions (23°C/60% rel. humidity).
Low temperatures, increased humidity and ingredients of some wood types
may increase drying time. Allow a minimum of 24 hours drying time under
normal conditions before applying the top coat.
